Picksan Lice Stop Anti-Lice contains natural active ingredients, including the patented MelAza extract. The MelAza extract consists of a special neem seed extract that is extracted from the neem tree. The Neem seed has been used in India to treat lice for thousands of years. Picksan Lice Stop was developed by Professor Mehlhorn and co-workers at the University of Dusseldorf. He is an internationally well-known German parasitologist. His research group has tested many natural ingredients against lice. Picksan Lice Stop uses a combination of vegetable ingredients which showed themselves to be the most effective in these tests.
Picksan Lice Stop Anti-Lice contains natural active ingredients, including the patented MelAza extract. The MelAza extract consists of a special neem seed extract that is extracted from the neem tree. Neem seed has been used in India to treat lice for thousands of years. Lice Stop Anti-Lice cares for hair, is soft on the scalp and has a pleasant scent. Lice Stop Anti-Lice leaves hair smooth and easy to comb. Sufficient for 2 intensive washes (dependant on hair length).
Warning:
Lice suck blood, resulting in small wounds on the scalp. This means that the shampoo comes into direct contact with the scalp and can permeate it. It is therefore dangerous to use synthetic chemical products as these may cause harm. Picksan contains natural, harmless ingredients that act effectively and safely against lice.
Removes all lice in a few steps:
- Wet the hair with warm water, and lightly pat dry with a towel.
- Dependant on the hair length, spread ¼ to ½ bottle of Picksan lice shampoo evenly through the hair and massage the scalp. Ensure that all hair is soaked with the lice shampoo.
- Leave the shampoo on for 15-20 minutes, covering the shoulders with a towel. Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry.
- Comb the hair with a lice comb. Preferably use a metal comb. Comb from the top down, beginning at the roots.
- Repeat the treatment outlined above 10 days later.
Important:
The lice are killed, but the eggs are not. This is because the active ingredient has difficulty permeating through the eggshell. The lice that later hatch from the eggs will be killed during the second treatment. Given some eggs require 9 days to hatch, we recommend the second treament is performed after 10 days.
Of course it is also possible to perform the second treatment after 5 days, and the third and final treatment again after 5 days. This is not harmful for the hair or scalp.
Lice can become resistant to synthetic chemical products. It is much harder for lice to become resistant to natural products such as Picksan Lice Stop Anti-Lice. Picksan Lice Stop Anti-Lice contains a MelAza extract that consists of a combination of many active ingredients. It is difficult for lice to build a resistance to all these active ingredients.

“You get lice if you are unhygienic and have long hair that you do not look after.”
Wrong: everyone can get lice that comes into contact with someone that has lice.
"I just comb lice and lice eggs out".
Wrong: Lice (grip) and lice eggs (stick) even resist lice combs and hair dryers.
“I just wash away lice with shampoo. People get lice when they do not wash their hair with shampoo".
Wrong: Normal shampoo does not remove lice (think about the tight grip).
"If I cut off the white nits then the lice will be gone."
Wrong: The white nits are already empty and no longer have a function.
"If someone has lice, it is only important that those with lice are treated."
Wrong: All "contact people" should be deloused, as they can also be infected without realising it.

Remove headlice in a few easy steps:
1.Wet the hair with warm water then rub with a towel.
2. Depending on the hair length spread ¼ to ½ a bottle of shampoo evenly over the hair and thoroughly rub into the scalp. Make sure that the hair is equally soaked with the shampoo.
3.Leave in place for 15-20 minutes with the towel around the shoulders. Rinse out thoroughly with warm water and dry.
4.Comb the hair with a metal lice comb. Comb from top to the beginning of the roots.
5.Repeat the treatment process 10 days later.
Important:
Lice eggs may not be killed because the shell of the eggs are sometimes impermeable to active ingredients. If lice still hatch from the eggs these will be killed on the second treatment as some eggs need 9 days to hatch. It is therefore recommended to carry out a second treatment after 10 days. The treatment is not harmful to the hair or the scalp.
Cautions:
- Do not use if you are sensitive to one of the ingredients contained in Lice Stop.
- Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children and store at room temperature.
- Do not use for children under 2 years old.
Depending upon hair length, this pack is sufficient for 2 intensive hair shampoos.
