How To Keep A Healthy Heart

Coronary heart disease has been recognized for more than a century and, despite regular medical advancements over that time, the incidence of heart disease continues to rise and more and more people are suffering from its debilitating effects.

At this point you may be smugly thinking to yourself; ‘but I’ve never had a problem with my heart’. That may be so but just remember this – by the time you realise there is a problem it may be too late. It’s never too early to focus on prevention. One chilling fact that spells this out is that 40% of patients who die of a heart attack have no preceding symptoms and 40%-60% of these die in the first two hours – often before any medical attention is available. Bet that has cheered you up :-)

On a more positive note we are going to give you some helpful tips to help you ensure you do not become a heart disease statistic. It’s important to note though that the information we are providing is just a point of reference. If you are unsure about anything or have particular concerns then it would be best to see your GP.

The Six Deadly Heart Attackers

Although the causes of heart disease have long since been the subject of debate, to the best of our knowledge the primary causes can be narrowed down to 6 major culprits:

  1. Excess Body Fat
  2. Cholesterol
  3. High Blood Pressure
  4. Chronic Inflammation
  5. Metabolic Syndrome
  6. Oxidative Stress

Now at this point you may be thinking that you can just focus on one or two of these attackers and that will suffice. However, what you need to understand is that many of these attackers interconnect and influence each other. Therefore the most effective plan to reduce heart disease risk should involve something that will affect several of these attackers at once. Luckily for you we have several herbal remedies to help you do this.

Excess Body Fat

Obviously the best way to reduce excess body fat is to lose weight. There are many slimming supplements available to help you do this in the form of either patches, pills or drops.

If you prefer to use pills then Ephedrexin is a powerful slimming pill containing 10 of the most powerful natural fat burning ingredients on the planet.   Trim24Seven patches are a revolutionary product designed to reduce your appetite and prevent binge eating. All you need to do is apply one patch each day and watch the pounds drop off. If neither of these appeal then why not try Ecoslim Slimming Drops, a healthy herbal formula designed to boost metabolism and improve liver and digestive function.

Reduce Cholesterol

Cholesterol is caused by too much saturated fat in the diet leading to clogged arteries and heart attack. To help balance your cholesterol levels and reduce the chances of heart disease try either Cholesto-Rite or Cholestoplex.

High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure occurs due to your heart having to work harder to pump the blood around your body – usually as a result of blocked arteries. The causes of this are varied and include heriditary genes, excess salt in the diet, carrying excess weight, and lack of exercise. As we mentioned before what helps with one problem also helps with others so if you have started to burn fat then you are already tackling one of the causes of high blood pressure.

You can reduce your blood pressure further by taking on some exercise such as taking a brisk walk each day. If you prefer something a bit more fun then why not try a Tanita Calorie Jump Rope, which counts calories while you exercise through skipping. Your efforts can also be further boosted by using a hypertension and blood pressure control supplement such as High-Rite.

Whichever way you decide to tackle high blood pressure don’t forget that the only way you will know if it’s working is to track your progress. You can do this yourself by using a blood pressure monitor such as the Mars Wrist Digital Blood Pressure Monitor.

Chronic Inflammation

The response to any injury (such as jambing your finger for example) is usually warmth, redness and tenderness in that part of the body. This is inflammation and it is a clever defence mounted by your immune system to repair the body.

Chronic inflammation is an immune response to being overweight, ageing, physical activity, bad hygiene, low-grade infection and stress. As a result your cells are constantly bombarded by immune system chemicals which eventually leads to a spewing gunk being leaked into the arteries. At high levels, inflammation can double or even quadruple heart risk.

Most of the causes of chronic inflammation have already been covered, that is except for stress. So if you find yourself stressed and unable to cope then why not take a look at one of our herbal stress relief remedies.

Metabolic Syndrome

The British Nutrition Foundation calls metabolic syndrome a ‘public health time bomb’ because it’s a condition that you or your doctor may never discover – until it’s too late that is. It is a cluster of conditions including obesity, insulin resistance or Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, high triglycerides and low HDL cholesterol levels that, in combination, raise the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

The main reasons for it are simple – it’s caused by being over-weight and not taking enough exercise. With the ever increasing obesity epedemics throughout the world this is a problem that is now swiftly on the rise.

Luckily if you have already started to look after your weight to burn fat – as well as undertaking exercise to keep your blood pressure down, then you are already well on the way to reduce your risk of metabolic syndrome.

Oxidative Stress

This refers to cell damage caused by roving molecular rogues called free radicals. Normally your body’s own defences – including anti-oxidants from the foods you eat – quickly mop up rampaging free radicals. If however, you smoke, are overweight, don’t exercise enough, get too anxious, or eat fast food too often then this clean up does not happen and your body will need help.

As we have already mentioned many of the other causes quitting smoking would be a good place to start. We have several herbal quit smoking formulas to help you along with this if you don’t already have the will power. This will massively reduce your heart disease risk in itself, not to mention the reduction in cancer risks.

If the thought of quitting smoking is just too much for you at the minute then you will need to give your body some help in the form of body detox products. Detox products are a massively growing industry at the moment so there is plenty to choose from. Do your research and make sure that you choose one that will do the job you need it to.

You should now have a better idea of what you need to do to improve the health of your heart but please remember that the information in this report barely scratches the surface. Whether or not you choose to integrate at least some of these measures into your lifestyle, always make sure you are aware of your cholesterol, blood pressure levels and your waist line.
